A weekly challenge to think a bit!

How could we ever get any knowledge about God?

It’s not easy at all! We can’t touch him – He is Spirit! We can’t hear his voice in an audible way (well – some may claim that, but who knows what they hear?). And we can’t see him with our two eyes either. So, if there is a God who created all of us (and there is very good reason to believe that!) how can we know anything about him?

There is actually only one way: That He makes himself known! If He cares at all about us, that’s what I would expect! Would a mother give birth to a baby and then just run away? Should a God who puts so much effort and love in all the details of his creation, and gives us the ability to communicate by language, not tell us anything about himself?

Hebrews 1:1-2 "In the past God spoke to our ancestors many times and in many ways through the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us through his Son."
